Health is a dynamic state of wholeness in which your body can accurately perceive its constantly changing needs and respond appropriately in a timely manner. If we are not proactively addressing our body’s needs then we are telling our bodies but we won’t care for them until they are screaming with pain and limitations. Good health results from several essential factors including proper nutrition, physical exercise , adequate sleep and rest, clean air and water, creative mental activity, freedom and release from under you emotional stresses, and freedom and release from interference to the nervous system. If any one of these essential factors is missing, your health is compromised. None of the above mentioned factors of health can replace the need for the others. Adequate sleep and rest do not replace the need for clean air and water. Frequently people mistakenly assume that they can eliminate their need for chiropractic care by participating in exercise and or nutritional programs. Good exercise and proper nutrition are complementary to chiropractic care, but they cannot replace your need for chiropractic adjustments. These factors compliment and enhance each other, giving you a more complete expression of health.
